Travelling Abroad?

If you are planning a trip abroad and need advice about medication and travel vaccines, then please visit a travel clinic for your initial consultation.  There are several clinics around the city to choose from.  We recommend you search online for a clinic near you.  Most offer a walk-in service so you do not need an appointment to see them.  It is recommended you have your appointment at the travel clinic at least 8 weeks before you travel.

At the travel clinic you will be advised if any medication or vaccinations are recommended for your trip.  The consultation is normally free of charge and you will only pay for any medication and vaccinations that you need. If it is recommended that you only need free NHS vaccinations, you can contact the practice to have these done here.

Medication to delay your period when travelling

The practice does not provide prescriptions to delay your period for travel purposes.

This service is available from a number of online pharmacies.  There is a charge for this service.
